run 3b goes to Laos: part 1

Date: 31st may to 7th june

Participants: mr dew + the 2 miss khoo

Day 1: Udorn Thani & Vientiane

the 3 sleepy souls gathered at the budget terminal at 5am in order to catch their 645am flight.

with nothing to do and no where else to eat, we ate breakfast @ Hans..

tip: check in first.. inside got more breakfast choices..

arrived in udorn thani (thailand) airport after our 2h45mins flight..

after the tiring journey, we din bother to bargain with our tutu driver... so when he said 50 baht, we accepted.. ended up getting cheated cuz he meant 50 baht EACH and not 50 baht for the 3 of us.. we refused to pay and gave him 100 baht only.. lesson learnt: always confirm tt the price they quote is for the whole pax and not for one person..

we finally arrive at our guest house... it had a pretty courtyard... and it only cost us US$21 per nite for 3 pple..

after settling down, we proceeded for lunch... finally decided on an air-con place.. haha..

after lunch, we went for a long long walk..

we walked and walked and then, the roads suddenly got prettier..

doesn't this look like a typical spore road? haha

a signage for their 'hopital'.. haha.. yup.. they spell hospital without an 's'

and then we headed to another tourist spot (oops.. i can't remember the name.. .)

we spotted ernst & young!! and were wondering whether got pwc not... and then we noticed it... (look at the bottom left corner)...

next, we went for dinner... cldn't decide on a place.. ended up going to a little 'coffee shop' to try laos food.. haha
